She explained how she sometimes struggled with daily activities, like cooking or answering the door for an unexpected visitor. “If only there were some kind of angel to whisper what I should do,” she said, “I could carry on without stress.” This insight inspired the creation of Tessa—a robot that doesn’t replace but guides.
